Bread served with butter. Schnitzel was nicely cooked. Still juicy and tender. The julienne vegetables were barely there, I would have appreciated a bit more. Ceasar salad was great. I recommend getting a sauce for the upcharge, well worth it.
The server was very kind and attentive; the food was wonderful until the last bite - although perhaps a little expensive, and the atmosphere was quiet around lunchtime. The plants were fake, but that can’t be helped with the lower lighting.
2 couples out for an evening. They have an excellent 2 can eat for 53 special. Includes starter salad, HUGE schnitzel with creamy potatoes dessert. Server was friendly and very efficient. Our first time - definitely not our last!!
My wife and I had a lovely lunch here during a recent stop in Perth. The outdoor patio (where we were seated) was beautiful, while the indoor space was very spacious (I took a look inside). As for the service, it was quite good, while both of us enjoyed our meals. Would absolutely come here again the next time I am in Perth.

Update April 2023: Lunch! Always had dinner here, now I have even another reason to come! Not that I already didn't. Schnitzel on a bun topped with sauteed onions, apple and brie. Whoa! So good. Schnitzel, spaetzel and kraut oh my! The short of it is that if you are in the area, or even if your not in the area, Maximilian's is a must eat. The in-laws have been going here since the '80s, and I don't think the menu has changed! Which is good. They make the best schnitzel, hands down, bar-none. Service is what you expect from and old world restaurant, attentive and unflinching. The dining room has an German charm that gives you a sense of the alps. The patio outback has a terrific view of the pond with a fountain. Very picturesque. Reservations are recommended, and covid protocols are followed, depending on when this is read, please check with the restaurant for details. Was just there this evening, the food, which I thought was impossible, has improved. The best schnitzel I have ever had. Kitchen was on-point tonight, like usual, but even better.

Hands down the best Schnitzel in Ontario!! I’m from London Ontario and I can easily say the schnitzel alone is worth the 8 hour drive! I went to Octoberfest in Cambridge a year ago and everyone hyped up the schnitzel but after trying there is no comparison Maximilian’s is the only place I will get it from. The owners are so friendly and care about the details and a nice walk on the town after to complete it and you can’t beat it! 10/10
The service was amazing The chef came out and spoke to us to check on how the food was. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food is delicious, had the mushroom schnitzel and it was so crispy yet so soft Great place to come for a nice meal
